The figure emerged slowly, then softened back into abstraction, mirroring the way emotions surface and retreat in real time.
I was interested in capturing what lingers after an experience has passed—the emotional residue that remains in the body even when words are gone. This work isn’t meant to provide answers; it’s meant to be lived with. Over time, the painting shifts with the viewer, revealing different emotional readings depending on where they are in their own journey.
